Current plan pricing is as follows:
Add-on services are available at published prices displayed at the time of purchase.
My Words Remain reserves the right to change pricing with at least 60 days’ advance written notice to active Customers. Price changes will not affect the current billing period.
Annual fees are charged on the anniversary of your enrollment date and automatically renew each year unless cancelled.
If a payment fails, we will make multiple attempts to collect payment. Customers have a 90-day grace period during which Letters remain safely stored. We will notify you via email and will work with you to resolve payment issues.
Letters are never destroyed, discarded, or surrendered due to non-payment. In the event of an unresolved account, we will contact your Trigger Contact for guidance before taking any action regarding your Letters.
We never open sealed Letters. This is our foundational and unconditional commitment.
All Letters are stored in archival-grade, acid-free materials designed for long-term paper preservation within our climate-controlled Vault, maintained at optimal temperature and humidity levels.
Each Letter is assigned a unique barcode for tracking and inventory management. Letters can be individually identified and located at any time.
Delivery is initiated upon verified death of the Customer or upon a specified milestone date designated by the Customer at the time of enrollment.
We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by outdated recipient address information provided by the Customer. We make reasonable efforts to locate updated addresses using information on file and, where authorized, with the assistance of the Trigger Contact.
An annual check-in is required to keep your account active and your contact information current. We will reach out via the contact methods on file each year around your enrollment anniversary.
If we do not receive a response, we will make multiple contact attempts via different channels over a reasonable period. If a Customer remains unreachable for an extended period, we will contact the designated Trigger Contact and, where permitted, review publicly available records to assess account status.
Annual check-ins help ensure recipient addresses are current and that the Customer’s wishes remain accurately reflected in our records.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Words Remain’s total liability to the Customer for any claim arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Customer in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
My Words Remain is not liable for consequential, indirect, incidental, or punitive damages of any kind, including emotional distress or loss of anticipated benefit.
We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by postal carrier error, natural disaster, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, provided we have fulfilled our obligations to prepare and tender Letters for delivery.
A Customer may cancel their account at any time by contacting us at care@mywordsremain.com.
Upon cancellation, all Letters will be returned to the Customer via tracked mail within a reasonable timeframe. Setup fees are non-refundable. Annual fees are refunded on a pro-rated basis for any unused months remaining in the billing period.
We do not retain copies of any Letters following cancellation and return.
Your privacy is central to everything we do. Please review our full Privacy Policy for complete details on how we collect and use your information.
We collect only the operational data necessary to provide the Service. We never access, read, or store the contents of any sealed Letter.
We're developing a formal business continuity plan to ensure your letters are never abandoned. In the event of any ownership transition, customers will be notified at least 90 days in advance.
In the event of any planned cessation of business or change of ownership, Customers will receive clear advance notice with instructions on any required action to safeguard their letters.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
